Diana Lake Lodge Sponsorships

We were proud to be a sponsor of the Golden Woman's Resource Center's annual soiree, held on Thursday November 9th. Unfortunately we could not attend, but it sounded like a great fun evening! Donated was a silent auction item: a self-catered trip for 4 people for two nights, so we hope to see the lucky recipients of that in July!

We are also proud to be sponsoring the Wildsight Invermere's 4th Wild and Scenic Film Festival, on Saturday, November 25. Up for grabs is a certificate for a couple of free lunches, as well as a silent auction item: a self-catered trip for 2 people for one night. We hope to see you there! 2017 Summer Season is Over!

Diana Lake Lodge and Teahouse is now shut down for the summer season. We would like to thank all of you who came to stay with us and those who came to visit for the day, as well as everyone who supported us and said good things about us!

We will be offering discounted winter trip pricing for February-March 2018, please get in touch with us through our website.

We will be opening for the 2018 summer season after replacing the floor in the cabin, sometime in early July. Follow us for updates!

Hours for end of July/beginning of August

Diana Lake Lodge will be closed this Friday, July 28 due to a supply run for group changeovers. We will be open again from July 29th at 12pm until 3pm August 7th, open again from August 8th at 12pm until 4 pm Aug 13th.

Summer is Here

Summer is here at Diana Lake Lodge! The wildflowers are blooming like mad on the alpine slopes, the trail has been mostly cleared of avalanche debris (aside from everything still under the snow!) and the sun is out and shining. Thanks to all who stopped by these past few weeks to join our opening weekend celebration and partake of our hospitality, we hope to see you all again soon. Apologies to all those that we missed!

Lots of work has been done these past few weeks, with the firepit moved and rebuilt, and a new composting outhouse and been built and christened.

The caretaker is up here from Wednesdays to Sundays, and also long weekend Mondays, so please come by and say hi if you are in the area.

We hope to see you up here!

Opening Weekend Celebration Date Confirmed!

Diana Lake Lodge & Teahouse will now be hosting their opening weekend celebration on July 8th!
There will be live music, bbq, good times and spectacular scenery. $10/person (children under 12 free) gets you some tunes, a tent site for the evening, and a burger/hotdog and snacks/salad during the BBQ. We will kick things off mid to late afternoon, so get here early not to miss anything.
Day hiking? The teahouse will be open with it's regular menu available, or chip in $5 to be part of the bbq and music! Don't feel like paying anything on your hike? That's fine too! Come check us out and say hi!
For those staying over, please make sure to bring your own breakfast for the next morning, and any other food/snacks/beverages you think you will need, along with your regular hiking/backpacking gear. There is limited space available for food storage in the lodge for anyone who needs it.
Contact us through our website at dianalake.ca or call us at 250-348-2303/250-300-9150 to reserve your spot today!
Please allow extra time for your hike, as their is still a large amount of avalanche debris on the trail.
We hope to see you up there!

First hike in of the summer 2017 season

We had a beautiful sunny day this June 5th when we went in to check out the road, trail and cabin up here at Diana Lake Lodge. The glacier lilies are out everywhere down low, and just starting as you get a little higher up the trail. Still about 5-6 feet of snow up around the cabin, but the melt has slowly begun.

There has been a large avalanche cycle this year, which has covered the trail in debris approximately 2.5 km up the trail. We will be cleaning this up hopefully in late June/early July along with a BCRecreation crew. Please take care in this area if you are headed up in the early season.

Diana Lake Lodge's summer season will be beginning this Canada Day weekend, with a bbq/party on Saturday July 1st. Tickets are $10 per person for a tent site, bbq, and some live music up in the alpine. Contact us through the website or give us a call to reserve your spots today!

Winter test completed!

This February 18-22 we flew into the lodge to make sure everything was okay and to do a little bit of ski exploring. We found 8 feet of snow in front of the lodge, and fairly large amount of terrain we can utilize for our winter season activities. Some pictures are uploaded on the website, but for a complete set, please visit our Facebook page!

Winter Wonderland

The snow is here! If you are planning on coming up this weekend, don't forget to bring your gaitors. 4 inches and counting in front of the lodge at this point. The start of a great ski season! The lodge is nice and cozy with the heater going, and there's a cheesecake in the oven. Winter heaven!

Last Regular Teahouse Weekend

The last weekend of regular teahouse hours is creeping up on us. The chef will be in residence from Friday to Monday, so come on up, enjoy some of our amazing food and hospitality, and check out the area!

We are still taking accommodation reservations for a few more weeks, and our chef can make special trips into the teahouse if a large enough group (4 or more) would like to have lunch. Contact us beforehand to let us know you're coming up!

Fall is Here

It's the second last weekend of our regular teahouse hours here at Diana Lake. We had a busy day today, and the weather decided to clear up and give us some sunshine as well.

The larches are in full yellows and oranges now, so come on up for some great views and hot drinks here at the Lodge. We are still taking accomodation reservations into October as well.

We hope to see you up here!

Changing Colours and Beautiful Weather

Looks like a bluebird week up here at Diana Lake Lodge! The larches have started to change colour now, and the landscape is filled with reds, yellows, and greens. Beautiful!

Don't miss your chance to catch some of the last good weather of the summer. We still have availability during this month.

The teahouse will be shutting down it's regular hours at the end of September. If you would like to visit in October, please contact us with the dates you wish come up and we can make arrangements for staff to be there.

We will still be taking overnight bookings until at least Thanksgiving. The water line will be dismantled at the end of September, so there will be no shower and water will be bucketed from the creek.

Hope to see you up here!

Wolf Sighting and Snow!

A busy few weeks up at the lodge, and some great wildlife and weather encounters.

A gray wolf decided to check out the creek side near the cabin last weekend, a little too quickly to capture him on camera. He didn't seem to care about the dog barking at him, he obviously had stuff to do. A very cool view of an amazing animal.

Woke up to snow today sticking on to the slopes and in the meadows, and then the sun broke out and has lit the area up beautifully.

Temperatures are cooling off for this weekend, so don't forget the warm clothes if you're visiting!
